Crypto Art: Animated Paintings

Oil paints are a stunning and beautiful medium, but as much as I enjoy them, it is difficult for a traditional artist to compete with the allure, intensity and immersiveness that video games and virtual reality boast. I had always wished that my paintings could come alive and dance with light, but I didn't want to stray far from the authenticity of a hand-crafted painting. To merge the capabilities of digital animation with my physical work brings me one step closer to that dream of a hypnotic and entrancing animated art form, where light can dance upon the canvas.

This work seeks to express fleeting, ineffable mystical experiences found only in states of intense cerebral excitement.
